Reptiles ususaly get put outside into environments in which they have no chance of surviving and little chance of being picked up. Oh, god, the shell thing makes me want to rage-quit life. Can you imagine having holes drilled through your finger nails? I’m not sure if that’s comparable but…damn.  Fuck humanity right now.  Nope that’s exactly the right comparison to make :/ I can’t even imagine how painful that’d be.
